DON SMITH
Music Writer
"
I grew up during the time when Redd and Pee Wee were very active and I remember when Redd wrote Tennessee waltz. I am proud to be able to sign this guest book.  Glad to say they was both an asset to the world of traditional country music. I too am a country and country gospel songwriter with many releases. Thanx for the opportunity to come aboard your site.  Sincerely, Don A. Smith"

"
I knew Redd and Pee Wee both, met them in Nashville at one of the functions. Redd was a talented writer as well as a fine musician. His songs will live forever! It's a pleasure to sign your guestbook. Best wishes"

ROY AYRES
Formerly - Golden West Cowboy
"
I played steel guitar with Redd for over 8 years in Pee Wee's band, starting in 1946 at the Grand Ole Opry and continuing through 1954 on WAVE-TV in Louisville. I left the music business as a profession for 42 years and recently retired, resuming music as a hobby. To me, Redd was the glue that held the Golden West Cowboys together into a tight musical unit. Redd was a great musician and songwriter, and -- above all -- was a friend and a gentleman. I miss him."

THE DUPREES
"The Love Songs Will Never Die"
"
Congratulations on a long overdue beautiful website. The Duprees will always be indebted to Redd Stewart for collaborating on "You Belong To Me." Since 1962, when The Duprees version was released, the group has enjoyed great success. At every concert we perform we always still see the fans faces light up and watch couples hold hands (again) while they listen to us sing the song. It is so heartwarming. God Bless You Redd!!"

LEROY VAN DYKE
Entertainer/Recording Artist
"
My acquaintance and friendship with Redd and Pee Wee began in the late 50s and when I was a regular on the Ozark Jubilee. We became friends and worked many, many shows together, and, in later years, even booked them on some shows. They were wonderful, talented people, and I've always said Redd was one of the most underrated people in the music business. The general public had no idea how good he was. It was a privilege to have known him.
