"How-DEE!" I'm so happy to be here, I'm so proud I could come!"
That line still brings a smile to everyone's face. Minnie Pearl holds a special place in our hearts. She spent many years travelling and performing with Redd and Pee Wee King, touching many lives along the way.
Over the years she became a huge star.  Her touring with Pee Wee and his band helped her season her act with show hours and make Minnie Pearl a national treasure.  She was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1975.
