More Performers For 2004:

Margaret Penn
It seems every time I talk to anyone about the “Today’s Country" music, I get the same response “it is NOT country music… I quit listening to the radio about 10 or so years ago.”  I have run into more and more people that fell the same way about “today’s country” So, I did a lot of thinking and I did all the legal paperwork in late 2003. I started accepting members as of January 1, 2004.  My goal for Traditional Country Music Foundation, Inc. is to promote and preserve the Traditional country music, and hope that we can get a message across that we want Traditional Country Music, along with the traditional style and sound to be brought back with the new upcoming artists.   www.diligentdesigns.com/tcmf

Les Alexander
Singer/Songwriter, Les Alexander, from Alvord, Texas has been singing, writing, and performing Country Music since he was a very young man. Les Alexander presents each song he sings as if he were telling a story about himself with every chorus and verse. With a style all his own, and vocal influence by artists such as Merle Haggard, Hank Williams (Sr. and Jr.), Buck Owens, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Joe Diffie, and Lefty Frizell, Les’ own written and vocal delivery evokes strong emotions with every Ballad, Honky Tonk, or Country Gospel tune he writes or sings.

Angela White
(
Special Guest Of Colonel Robert Morris )
I was born in Meridian which is located in the east central part of Mississippi. Meridian is better known for being the hometown of Jimmie Rodgers, the father of country music. It is also the corporate headquarters for Peavey Electronics.  I currently live in Harmony, a small community just south of Meridian. I worked as an interpreter for a deaf child in the local school system. My husband’s name is Eddie and together we have three children, Joshua, Luke & Emily. Other than singing and performing, the things I enjoy the most are our family outings which usually include camping, hiking, fishing, deer hunting, and going mud-riding on our 4 wheelers! In most aspects, I’m just a good ole’ fashion country girl. http://www.angelawhite.net
